Convictions Gone Bad with Will Mellor: Andrew Malkinson
Crime+Investigation · ITN Productions

A new chapter in the extraordinary story of Andrew Malkinson, who spent 17 years in prison for a crime he did not commit.

Following on from the BBC documentary The Wrong Man, this film brings the case right up to date, after DNA evidence finally led investigators to the man responsible and, more than two decades after the attack, to his conviction.

Made with ITN Productions for Crime+Investigation and presented by Will Mellor, the film revisits the failures that led to Andy’s wrongful conviction while following the remarkable developments that have transformed the case since his exoneration.
