I’m a documentary editor working across feature documentaries, specialist factual and premium factual television, with a particular interest in character-led storytelling, contemporary culture, music and history.

Over the years I’ve cut films and series for BBC Studios, Rogan Productions, National Geographic, Disney+, Channel 4, ITV and others. Recent work includes The Trials of Pa Salieu, Civilisations: Rise & Fall, Cursed Gold, The Secret Genius of Modern Life and Freedom: 50 Years of Pride.

Alongside editing, I have an extensive background as a director and producer. That experience has shaped the way I approach an edit: I’m interested in performance, structure, tone and the emotional logic of a story, but I also understand what it takes to get the material in the first place.

I’m equally comfortable shaping archive, interviews, observational material and complex factual narratives, and I enjoy working closely with directors and producers to find the clearest, most engaging version of a film.
